An unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming, but you will find information and support at the Pregnancy Test Center. Our office is a safe place for you to discuss your personal situation, ask questions, and get information on pregnancy, abortion procedures, pregnancy options and sexual health.
free pregnancy tests
Experiencing pregnancy symptoms, such as a missed period, doesn’t always mean you are pregnant. The center staff only use laboratory-quality, highly sensitive, urine-based tests to indicate pregnancy with a 99.9% accuracy. Visit our center to talk with a medical professional about your symptoms and situation to get the answers you need.
Considering an abortion? The first step is a limited pregnancy ultrasound. This will determine if the pregnancy is viable, the number of weeks pregnant you are, and which abortion procedures are available to you in Alabama.
If you are sexually active and are concerned about your sexual health, the Pregnancy Test Center conducts comprehensive testing and treatment for sexualy transmitted infections (STIs) and sexualy transmitted diseases (STDs) for both men and women.
initial prenatal assessment
The PTC provides an initial prenatal assessment by a physician or nurse practitioner, prenatal lab work and a limited pregnancy ultrasound to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. The center staff can also assist you with necessary referrals based on your current stage of pregnancy.
An unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming. After your testing is completed our staff will help you understand how far along are you; if you are at risk for natural miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy; and what abortion procedure are available to you, abortion pill or surgical abortion, as well as other options for your pregnancy.
Walk-up appointments at the Pregnancy Test Center are always welcome but our staff encourage clients to make an appointment to minimize your wait times.
